ConocoPhillips CEO Confirms Parnell's Flip on the Gasline Progress is actually a Flop
line

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - September 28, 2010

ANCHORAGE - ConocoPhillips CEO Jim Mulva has admitted to the London' Financial Times that they are "reassessing" their involvement in the natural gas pipeline. Ethan Berkowitz, the Democratic Party's candidate for Governor responded, "This is the final nail in the coffin for Sean Parnell's 'Gasline Success Ruse'."

"Sean Parnell has spent the majority of the year claiming that AGIA and the open season are a success, but refuses to release the numbers to back it up. Then he flipped, slipped, and let the real truth out, when he said just one week ago that the gasline was a 'project without a buyer, seller, shipper, or concrete plan.'

"ConocoPhillips has confirmed today what Alaskans already know: Sean Parnell will never deliver Alaska a pipeline. Sean Parnell and AGIA have failed Alaska. The only thing worse than an acting Governor who can't deliver a pipeline is one who also can't deliver the truth.

"By his actions and his words, Sean Parnell failed. We definitely can't afford 4 years of this.

"There is only one remaining candidate in the race for Governor who is committed to an All-Alaska gasline, built by Alaskan workers, and available as an investment for individual Alaskans. I am that man," said Berkowitz.
