Berkowitz and Benson Post Big Number

ANCHORAGE - The Berkowitz-Benson 'Energize Alaska' ticket came out of the gate with a strong start for the General Election, raising over $208,000 from 997 contributors in their first 5 weeks as a ticket.

The Berkowitz-Benson numbers for the reporting period August 25 - October 1 are:

Total Raised for Period: $208,002
Total Expenditures: $197, 632
Cash on Hand: $79,831

Berkowitz and Benson opted to create a joint committee named 'Energize Alaska' after winning their respective primary elections.

"The concrete proposals that Ethan and Diane have put forward in the Alaskan Ownership Stake have been met with rave reviews by Alaskans, and it shows in the fundraising numbers," said Jon Blair, Campaign Manager for the Berkowitz-Benson ticket.
